The PVZ Holiday Party

I went to the party that I made da monkeys for.  It was really fun.  It was at Zuber and Viczian's home and it was potluck.  Andrea (Viczian) made salmon and then we had other things.  I took cream cheese marble squares for dessert and they were a big hit!  Yay for that awesome dessert.
The white elephant gift exchange was really fun.  My monkeys didn't get opened until almost the end because I didn't have anything to wrap them in, so they were in a grocery sack.  Oh well.  The two most sought for gifts: a lab coat that had PVZ, pictures of flies, mice and frogs (the model organisms) and fluorescent microscopy pictures all over it.  The other thing was a painting that Mike (in Viczian's lab) had painted.  It had a frog, a fly and a mouse and it was really awesome.  I actually was the one who opened the painting, but it was stolen from me by Zuber who was after me.
I ended up getting this cute frog piggy bank.  It is magical, depending on how much money you put in and how much you wish before it will determine the quality of journal that your research can get into :)
It was a fun evening!
